Pattie Mallette, the mother of pop superstar Justin Bieber, is promoting a pro-life movie she helped to create.
The film, "Crescendo," tells the story of a woman who makes a decision that changes human history.
Mallette served as the executive producer of "Crescendo." She said she believes it will offer encouragement to other young expectant mothers.
Matllette became pregnant with Bieber when she was single and just 17. She has been vocal about the help she received from a crisis pregnancy center.
She videotaped a message that will be shown at the film's pre-screenings.
She begins it by saying, "Hello, I'm Pattie Mallette and I'm the mother of Justin Beiber. We both know firsthand the importance of the work being done at crisis pregnancy centers across the country."
The film's maker hopes to raise $10 million for pregnancy centers nationwide. "Crescendo" is set for limited release Feb. 28.
