Tens of thousands of Christian youth are worshipping God in word and deed in Atlanta this week.
Rev. Louie Giglio is hosting Passion 2013, an annual worship conference for 18 to 25 year olds.
About 60,000 are participating in the event that focuses on fighting human trafficking and helping the poor.
"Passion is about the Jesus Generation uniting for His fame," Giglio said in a statement. "At the heart of it all, Passion exists to see a generation stake their lives on what matters most."
"For us, that's the fame of the One who rescues and restores, and the privilege we have to fully leverage our lives by amplifying His name in everything we do," he said.
Attendees were asked to bring a new towel and a pair of socks to donate to local homeless shelters.
The Passion Conference runs through Friday, Jan. 4.
