Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is back home after a blood clot left her in a New York City hospital for days.
Clinton was discharged from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital Wednesday evening. It was the first time the secretary of state has been seen publicly since Dec. 7.
Doctors say Clinton suffered no neurological damage from the clot and expressed confidence she would make a full recovery.
"Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts," Clinton aide Philippe Reines said in a statement.
"She's eager to get back to the office, and we will keep you updated on her schedule as it becomes clearer in the coming days," he said.
