Spotlight on Super Bowl Sex Trafficking

Ad Feedback

This weekend's NFL Super Bowl is a time that human traffickers use to increase business.

In recent years law enforcement has stepped up efforts to stop the tragedy taking place around the stadium.

Meanwhile, anti-trafficking activists have worked to raise awareness on the issue.

Theresa Flores, with Traffick Free, is a sex slave survivor and one of the leaders in the movement.

"These guys are masters of coercion and trickery. They target the vulnerable and then use threats, manipulation, and blackmail to force them into commercial sex labor while they gain financially," she said.

Flores talked more about the problem and what Traffick Free does to help sex trafficking victims, on CBN News Channel Morning News, Jan. 31. Click play for the interview.
