Lawmaker: Ft. Hood Result of Political Correctness

Rep. Jim Bridenstine, R-Okla., blames political correctness for the 2009 shooting rampage at the Fort Hood, Texas Army post that left 13 people dead.

The lawmaker noted that suspect Maj. Nidal Hasan was open about his radical Islamic views before the shooting, but his army supervisors didn't take action for fear of appearing intolerant.
Jury selection in the murder trial has started. Hasan is expected to tell potential jurors he's being forced to wear a military uniform, which he believes represents "an enemy of Islam."
Hasan told the court he spends hours reading the Koran in his cell every day.
