It has been one month since an EF-5 tornado ripped through Moore, Okla., killing 24 people and destroying thousands of homes and buildings.
Operation Blessing has been in the area since the storm hit and is continuing to help residents clean up debris and repair damage.
Volunteers are also offering emotional and spiritual support through hugs and prayer. Many have taken time too pray with devastated families at a memorial set up at Plaza Towers Elementary School where several children were killed.
Residents are thankful for the support.
"A man gave me this cross he made it from the scraps from the tornado and I appreciate that so much and it means everything to me and he was a Operation Blessing volunteer. I just want to say thank you to everybody to Operation Blessing and God bless. God bless you," local resident Janine Hurley said.
