Die-hard Trekkies are anticipating the latest installment of the Stark Trek movie series, "Star Trek Into Darkness."
This time Captain Kirk and the USS Enterprise are facing a threat from within: John Harrison, a rogue Starfleet agent bent on mass destruction.
While the path forward isn't always clear, Kirk and his crew prove equal to the task.
"The right decision isn't always obvious," Plugged-In film critic Paul Asay writes. "And even when it is, to do the right thing often exacts a cost. We're taught that here."
"The crew of the Enterprise makes some pretty good decisions, and pay dearly for each and every one," he continued. "Which is why my hat's off to 'em: It may be an old cliché to say that the end doesn't justify the means, but that tired tradition does not render it any less true."
Plugged In Director Bob Waliszewski offered his take on "Star Trek Into Darkness" and other films on CBN News Channel Morning News, May 17. Click play to see his review.
