President Obama Honors Fallen Heroes

Ad Feedback

President Barack Obama marked the Memorial Day weekend by saying America needs to do more to help those left behind by fallen heroes.

Mr. Obama said that the country shouldn't just remember such heroes, but that Americans should help care for their families.

The president used his weekly radio and internet address to also say the U.S. needs to make sure all veterans receive the care and benefits they have earned for their service. And that above all, the armed forces have to have the support to carry out missions here at home and abroad.
