Illinois Cleanup, Rebuilding Continues after Twisters

Midwest residents are still picking up the pieces after a series of massive storms and tornados carved a wide swath over the area, leveling homes and businesses.

Not less than 11 twisters touched down in Illinois on Sunday, leaving at least six people dead.

The tornado that hit Washington, Il., cut an eight-mile-wide path from one side of the community of 16,000 to the other. As many as 500 homes were damaged.

Operation Blessing is on the ground helping people recover and rebuild their lives. The aid organization has partnered with local churches to help clean up debris and deliver much needed supplies to survivors.

Operation Blessing is also providing spiritual and emotional support through prayer and outreach.
