One of the latest developments in online education right now centers on a new type of teaching known as MOOCS, or Massive Open Online Courses.

More than 6 million students are currently enrolled in MOOCS. Harvard and MIT were the first universities to introduce these classes.

They're attractive because they offer top-rate education to an unlimited number of students, and they're usually free.

Now, Regent University is offering a line of MOOCS known as Luxvera, which means light and truth.

The Christian online classes will feature lectures and teaching material provided by Regent and the American Center for Law and Justice.

Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riano, director of Regent's MOOC program, talks more about the new classes on CBN Newswatch, Nov. 20.
