Rutgers University Bus Driver Fired for Praying

A Rutgers University bus driver says he lost his job for praying for a disabled student.

The bus company says Stan McNeil was given the option to resign because of an unspecified safety violation, but McNeil said the reason he was given was praying for the student.

He claims the company told him they didn't want to put on the record they had fired him, so he was forced to step down.

Students have taken to social media to ask the company to bring McNeil back. An online petition had more than 5,500 signatures by Thursday morning.
