The National Religious Broadcasters has selected Dr. Jerry A. Johnson as their new president a chief executive officer by unanimous decision.
NRB Board Chairman Rich Bott expressed his excitement for the group's future under Johnson's leadership.
"Dr. Jerry Johnson is extremely well-suited to lead NRB into the future. We have chosen an outstanding leader who is rooted in Scripture and motivated by the Great Commission, using the tools of today," Bott said.
Johnson, who is president of Criswell College in Dallas, will officially start his new role at NRB on Nov. 1.
Current NRB head Dr. Frank Wright announced earlier this year that he would stepping down as president. He officially leaves Oct. 4.
