Obamacare Sees Less Than 1 Pct. Enroll Nationwide

The website for the Obamacare health exchanges has been extremely slow and loaded with technical glitches. Consequently, very few people have been able to sign up.

Millward Brown Digital, the company that crunched the overall numbers, found that less than 1 percent succeeded in signing up nationwide.

In Delaware, only one person has been able to join Obamacare in the two weeks since enrollment began.

Meanwhile, small businesses are feeling the financial crunch from the federal healthcare program.

A well-known ice cream company in Indiana is the latest casualty.

FOX-28 TV reported that the Bonnie Doon Ice Cream Plant in Elkhart has shut down. The company's CFO said Obamacare is the last straw that made it impossible to keep its doors open.

The healthcare law forces businesses with more than 50 employees to provide insurance. Many companies are trying to figure out how to do that and still stay in business.
