Chargers' Philip Rivers: Faith, Family Are Priority

Ad Feedback

On a day with some important NFL games, quarterback Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers pulled out a thrilling victory over the Eagles in Philadelphia.
Rivers threw three touchdown passes. He also led the Chargers down the field, with less than two minutes left in the game to set up the winning field goal with just seven seconds left.

Rivers told CBN Sports Reporter Tom Buehring that his priorities are faith, family, and football - in that order.
He said that the ultimate purpose in life is to get to heaven and take as many people as we can.

He added it's important to grow in your faith and your relationship with Jesus.
