Faith-Based Alternative to Boy Scouts Emerges

Ad Feedback

Just three months after the Boy Scouts voted to allow gay members, a new faith-based organization has emerged as an alternative.

Trail Life U.S.A. held its first national convention in Nashville over the weekend. More than 1,000 people attended the event, including former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

"Trail Life will be inclusive of boys regardless of religion, race, nationality, or socioeconomic status -- and accept boys who are struggling with same-sex attractions or gender confusion," a spokesperson said.

The organization will officially launch next year.
