Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, bridal shop owner Victoria Miller has refused to sell wedding gowns to a lesbian couple, stirring debate.

After the story made headlines, members of the Bloomsburg Town Council are considering legislation to make the shop owner's action illegal.

Meanwhile, the women who were turned away posted a protest on Facebook. But Miller is standing on her faith.

"We feel we have to answer to God for what we do. And providing those two girls dresses for a sanctified marriage would break God's law," Miller, owner of W.W. Bridal Boutique, told The Press Enterprise.

Miller's attorney said such a sale violates her "firmly and honestly held religious beliefs."
