A Pennsylvania woman has confessed to killing at least 22 people from Alaska to North Carolina in the last six years as part of her involvement in a Satanic cult.

Nineteen-year-old Miranda Barbour and her husband, Elytte, 22, are charged with the November killing of Troy LeFerrara, a man they met through Craigslist.

According to the police report, the couple said they wanted to kill someone together. They told police she stabbed the victim in the front seat of her car while her husband held a cord around his neck.

They said the crime took place about three weeks after they moved from North Carolina to Pennsylvania.

Barbour told the Daily Item newspaper in Sunbury she felt it was time to get the story out.

"I feel it is time to get all of this out," she said. "I don't care if people believe me. I just want to get it out."

The local police chief said investigators are aware of her claims.

Barbour said she doesn't want to get out of jail and that she would kill again if released. She added she only killed "bad people," and she has no remorse.

She plans to plead guilty.
