Spring is only one week away, but a snowstorm is wreaking havoc across the Midwest and Northeast.

In Ohio, pileups involving at least 50 cars killed three people and seriously injured one state trooper Wednesday.

The pileups on both sides of the Ohio turnpike caused miles of backup and hours of delays.

Meanwhile tens of thousands of homes and businesses in Northern Illinois and Indiana lost power.

Chicago got about six inches of snow, making this the city's third snowiest winter.

The storm has been heading East to New England and some places could see their heaviest snowfalls of the winter before the storm dissipates over Canada.
