As doctors diagnose thousands of veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder every year, many veterans have found comfort and healing with the help of trained therapy dogs.

But the expense can be prohibitive. Because of that, one veteran is making it his mission to deliver a therapy dog to all who need one.

Jim Stanek and his wife, Lindsey, started Paws & Stripes to provide service dogs for military veterans with PTSD and traumatic brain injury.

Their work is also the focus of a new A&E television series called "Dogs of War" . The show premieres on Veterans Day at 10 p.m. EST.

The Lindseys talked with CBN News ahead of their show's debut and shared a preview. Click play to watch.
