The Muslim convert accused of beheading a co-worker at a Moore, Oklahoma, food processing plant could face the death penalty.

Alton Nolen, 30, was charged with first degree murder, assault and battery with a deadly weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon

Nolan's Facebook page has posts referencing extreme Islam and quotes from the Koran.

One of the post shows a beheading, and quotes the Koran passage, "I will instill terror into the hearts of unbelievers; smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

Investigators say he tried to convert employees to Islam.

Meanwhile, the FBI continues their investigation into Nolen's background, and still call the attack an isolated case of workplace violence.

"The altercation that occurred earlier in the day had more to do with race than it was him trying to convert anyone. He was basically saying that he didn't like white people," Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn said.

Nolen was in the process of being fired from Vaughan Foods when he carried out the Sept. 25 assault. Mashburn said Nolen attacked Colleen Hufford from behind, severing her head. Then, he repeatedly stabbed Traci Johnson, the woman who filed the complaint that led to his suspension.

Mashburn said Nolen's attack on Johnson ended when he was shot and wounded by a company official.
