Anne Graham Lotz's Husband in ICU after Accident

UPDATE: Anne Graham Lotz announced on her website Wednesday afternoon that her husband, Danny, passed away following a pool accident earlier in the week. Read more here.

Anne Graham Lotz's husband is in intensive care at a hospital in North Carolina after he was found unresponsive in their home's swimming pool Monday afternoon.

It's not yet clear what caused Danny Lotz's pool accident, but a family friend confirms he's been battling diabetic seizures for the past few years.

A statement on her Facebook page says "...there are no answers yet as to the outcome... but the family is standing firm in faith, trusting Jesus."

Danny is the son-in-law of evangelist Billy Graham. He and Anne have been married for nearly 50 years and have three children together.
