Anti-Planned Parenthood Protests Erupt across US

Time may be running out for Planned Parenthood.  Demonstrators gathered in more than 300 cities across the U.S. over the weekend for a national day of protest against the nation's largest abortion provider.

"Well the dark has come light now and we have seen the horrific crimes against humanity that are commited inside of Planned Parenthood," said Cheri Stone, the organizer of the protests in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

"We would like to see Planned Parenthood defunded immediately and to see Cecil Richards and her staff prosecuted for the barbaric crimes committed inside of there," she added.

This comes after the Center for Medical Progress started releasing undercover videos exposing what's really happening at many Planned Parenthood clinics -- most disturbing: the harvesting of baby body parts.

Protesters in Virginia Beach stood together against Planned Parenthood with one message.

"We just want people to think by being out here and seeing all these people, if they are not involved, if they haven't thought through the issues that we are killing 1/4 of our children. They see all these people and they say, 'Yes, there is something to this -- it's wrong and I need to do something about it,'" protester Craig Eller said.

Louantha Kerr, another organizer of the Virgina Beach protests, agreed.

"It's so important that people know the truth about Planned Parenthood," she said. "And with these videos it seems like the veil has been lifted and more and more people are understanding that everything that Planned Parenthood is, is really a lie."

These protesters along with many others across the country want to see Planned Parenthood investigated. But their immediate request is for Congress to stop sending the organization half a billion dollars a year in taxpayer money.

"We would like the money, the funds, our tax dollars that go to Planned Parenthood  to go to the health clinics here in the area who need the money, who don't take the life of innocent children and wound women in the process," Stone said.

With entire cities joining together, there is hope that defunding Planned Parenthood is possible.

Meanwhile, a judge has lifted a temporary restraining order against the CMP.  The court had blocked the group from releasing video of one of Planned Parenthood's former partners, called stem express.

Now a new undercover video has been released showing the CEO explaining how her company gets completely intact fetuses for organ harvesting.

In one part of the video, she laughs about mailing the whole heads of babies to laboratories.

The Center for Medical Progress is expected to release more undercover Planned Parenthood videos.
