Wildfires Rage On in Northern CA, Homes Destroyed

Wildfires are still raging in northern California and fire officials say the flames are fast-moving.

So far, nearly 50,000 square miles have been damaged. Dozens of homes and buildings have also been destroyed.

"It's jaw-dropping to see some of the things it is doing," California state fire spokesman Jason Shanley told The Sacramento Bee newspaper.

Authorities say scattered thunderstorms and gusty winds in the area could create more of a danger.
