MLK Day: Prayer Needed Instead of Protest

Groups across the nation are marking Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day with large demonstrations protesting the police involved grand jury decisions in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York City.

But one group in Chesapeake, Virginia, is doing something different. They are protesting the violence and racial tensions with prayer.

At the annual S.T.A.N.D. prayer breakfast led by Bishop E.W. Jackson, the group prayed for and thanked members of the local police and sheriff's department.
