Winter Weather Sweeps US, Dumping Snow and Ice

Winter weather is marching across the country, dumping snow and ice along the way.

Forecasters say people in the South are experiencing the worst snow storm of the season.

The storm is expected to gain strength as it barrels across the country and could lead to a nor'easter this weekend.

Meanwhile, the East Coast is already digging out from a storm that hit the Mid-Atlantic.

"The whole winter, it was just cold," Tzvi Lavihayem, a New Jersey resident, said. "Now we have some flavor to it."
