Baltimore's mayor lifted the city's week-long curfew Sunday.

Meanwhile, churches united to pray for healing and justice following last week's anger and violence over Freddie Gray, the young man who suffered a fatal spinal injury while in police custody.

Several ministers spoke at a massive afternoon rally outside Baltimore City Hall.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan attended mass at St. Peter Claver Church, where Archbishop William Lori told parishioners Gray's death exposed long-standing issues such as failing schools, insecure family situations, and mistrust between communities and civic officials.

Sunday was the first time for services at Baltimore's Southern Baptist Church, which lost a planned senior center to an arson fire during the unrest last Monday night.
