More than 75,000 people have shared the story of a little boy who prayed for a homeless man inside an Alabama Waffle House restaurant.
WSFA-TV orginally reported the story after the boy's mother contacted the station.
Ava Faulk says she and her 5-year-old son Josiah were at the restaurant when he noticed an unkempt man outside holding a bag.
As Josiah peppered her with questions, she explained that the man was homeless. Josiah then insisted that his mom buy the man a meal and so they invited him in.
"He came in and sat down and nobody really waited on him, so Josiah jumped up and asked him if he needed a menu because you can't order without one," Faulk told WSFA-TV.
The man at first ordered a cheap hamburger but then ordered more food at their insistence.
When the food came, Josiah insisted on saying grace and then sang a blessing: "God our Father, God our Father, we thank you, we thank you--for our many blessings."
Faulk said, "The man cried. I cried. Everybody cried."
