'San Andreas,' 'Aloha' Not Ideal for Families

For those looking for family-friendly entertainment at the theater this weekend, critics recommend skipping box office openers "San Andreas" and "Aloha."

"San Andreas" starring Dwayne Johnson, tells the story of one father stopping at nothing to rescue his family from the ruins a massive earthquake creates around them.

Though an overall positive story, it's not a film PluggedIn Online recommends for young families.

"From a family perspective, we have a lot of profanity and surprising bloody violence in this film," PluggedIn Online Director Bob Waliszewski said.

"Aloha," with a star-studded cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone and Bill Murray, has the same problem.

Plus, Waliszewski added that he thinks it's lacking in plot intrigue.

"Except for one scene at the end, it just lacked some punch," he said.

So skip the openers if you're heading to the theater with kids, and check out "Tommorowland," Disney's family friendlier bet.
