One thousand Christian leaders will meet in Greensboro, North Carolina, this week to tackle the growing pornography epidemic.

The Set Free Global Summit, taking place April 4-7, explores the social, psychological, neurological, and spiritual impact of pornography.

Author and evangelist Josh McDowell says pornography is a public health problem that should be treated like a dangerous addiction.

McDowell has commissioned a Barna Group study on the scope of the epidemic.

McDowell, one of the summit leaders, was shocked by recent studies reporting that 67 percent of young men and 49 percent of young women consider viewing pornography to be acceptable behavior.

Attendees will hear from 30 leading experts to find solutions to porn addiction. They will also gain access to resources to help deal with issues of sexual integrity in the Church.
