The calendar may say it's spring, but winter weather has been hitting the Northeast hard.
Emergency crews responded to multiple crashes in upstate New York. Forecasters issued weather advisories from Buffalo to Albany and called for up to 10 inches of snow in some higher elevations.
Boston and other parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island could get as much as eight inches of snow.
Frigid temperatures are also moving across the Northeast. In some places, temperatures could fall so low they'll break records that are more than a century old.
