Broncos Defense Pounds Panthers in Super Bowl Win

The Denver Broncos are Super Bowl champs today, thanks to a bruising defense that shut down the Carolina Panthers Sunday night.
Denver's MVP linebacker Von Miller set the tone early on with a sack that forced Panthers quarterback Cam Newton to fumble, resulting in a Broncos touchdown.
Over and over, Denver's top-ranked defense pounded the Panthers, holding them to just one touchdown the entire game, earning a 24-10 victory.
While Cam Newton didn't get the chance to do one of his famously flamboyant celebrations, NFL veteran quarterback Peyton Manning earned his 200th win with this Super Bowl victory.
Manning helped lead the Broncos to their third Super Bowl Championship in franchise history and finally won his second.
"It's a great feeling. A great sense of accomplishment for this team," Manning said.
But it may have been the last of his career. There are rumors the 39-year-old Manning may now retire.
"We've been through a lot this year….tough and resilient, and all of that was on display tonight. I spoke to the team last night and thanked them for letting me be a part of the journey. It's really been a team effort and it was team win tonight," he said.
