Super Bowl Sunday is almost here, and Carolina Panther Charles "Peanut" Tillman risked it all to help push his team to the big game.

The veteran cornerback will be watching from the sidelines after suffering a partial tear of the ACL in his right knee in November then fully tearing the ligament in a game only weeks later. The injury is a risk Tillman says he'd take again to get his team to this point.

Tillman established himself as the greatest cornerback of the Chicago Bears, playing for the team for a dozen seasons. He signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2015.

He has earned the Walter Payton "Man of the Year" award and was selected for two pro bowls.

Tillman shares his journey of determination, persistence, and humility in a book for young people called The Middle School Rules of Charles 'Peanut' Tillman.

Off the field, Tillman and his wife, Jackie, have three daughters and a son.

After his second-youngest daughter was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and underwent a heart transplant, the family started Cornerstone, a nonprofit organization that provides resources and opportunities to children in need.

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Tillman is raffling off an all-expenses paid trip to Sunday's big game. The entry deadline is noon February 4, 2016. Click here to Enter.

Proceeds will benefit his new foundation, the Tiana Fund which will provide financial assistance to families in need with children at the Levine Children's hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.
