Rose Adams may be a senior saint, but a twinkle still comes to her eyes every time she talks about her time as care taker for Billy Graham's mother, Morrow Graham, during the last two years of her life.
Rose said she values the time she spent in what she calls "Mother Graham's Seminary," literally learning at Morrow's feet the great wisdom that comes through faith that has endured many things.
Standing in the blazing sun in front of the old Graham homestead, Rose smiled as she pointed to different plants in the garden.
"This tree I brought over from the original location of the house. See that hydrangea bush? I made sure it was replanted here," Rose said with enthusiasm.
One of her prized possessions is a journal of all the spiritual lessons she learned from Morrow.
Today she stands tall and wipes her brow in the excruciating heat, excited to see the fulfillment of Morrow's' dream to see God glorified through the lives of her children.
Rose remains a family friend of the Grahams.
She eagerly tells us that she baked one of Billy Graham's favorite cakes following his mom's recipe. She plans to give it to him personally before the library dedication ceremony.
Watch for an upcoming video segement to this article and take a moment to listen to Rose's story. You'll be encouraged.
