Commission: Iraq Failed to Protect Christians

Ad Feedback

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom says Iraq has failed to protect Christians.

One official says up to four million Iraqis have fled the country to escape persecution. However, there's enough blame to go around.

U.S. Representative Frank Wolf says America and the churches in the West have also failed to defend Iraqi believers or help refugees in the country.

Yet another commissioner says Iraqi Christians have told him conditions were better under Saddam Hussein than they have been since the U.S. Invasion of the country.
