American Jews are asking President-elect Barack Obama to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem when during his time in office.

Currently, the American Embassy is in Tel Aviv, and the international community does not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Congress passed a Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995 ordering the move, but both former President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush put off its implementation every six months for the past 9 years.
