Netanyahu: Israel Needs to Stop Attacks

Ad Feedback

Israeli leaders are divided over whether to launch a major ground offensive into the Gaza Strip.

A six-month truce with Hamas ended last week. Since then, Islamic terrorist groups have fired dozens of rockets into southern Israel.

Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu inspected damage to the Israeli town of Sderot and told reporters Israel needs to act now.

Despite Netanyahu's appeal, a major ground offensive remains on hold.

Israeli planes fired missiles into an area of the Gaza, but it's unlikely air strikes alone will stop the rocket attacks.
