Hamas Commander Confirms Iran Training

A Hamas commander has confirmed what Israel has long insisted: that Hamas terrorists are training in Iran.

He told Britain's Sunday Times newspaper that Hamas has been sending fighters to Iran for training in both field tactics and weapons technology ever since Israel's pullout from Gaza in 2005.

The un-named commander says Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps is currently training some 150 Hamas members inside Iran.

The training lasts between 45 days and six months. He said that Syria also trains hundreds of Hamas fighters.
