The Israeli military has wrapped up internal investigations into accusations of soldier misconduct in the recent war in Gaza.
Their results show Israeli soldiers did not violate international law in the war against Hamas.
Human rights groups accused the Israeli military of war crimes, but the military says it operated at a "high professional and moral level" against an enemy that "aimed to terrorize Israeli civilians while taking cover amid uninvolved civilians in the Gaza strip and using them as human shields.".
The United Nations is also investigating if war crimes were committed.
The investigation was only supposed to review Israeli conduct, but the lead investigator refused to accept the assignment until his orders were changed to also look into the conduct of Palestinians.
