Gorillas Get a Sneak Glimpse of New Mate

Ad Feedback

Female gorillas at the London Zoo were shown photos of their intended male suitor.

Zookeepers posted life-sized photographs of a male gorilla in hopes of peaking their interest.

The females began eating the photographs. And according to zookeepers, that is a good sign.

The staff intend to see if they would make an association between the face in the picture and the actual gorilla when he arrives.

And French zookeepers are also showing the male gorilla pictures of the females so he can get familiar with their faces as well.

The male gorilla will be traveling from France to meet his new mate later this year.
