Two of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's earliest compositions have been discovered.

Researchers in Salzburg, Austria have unveiled two piano pieces they believe Mozart composed as a child. Mozart began playing music at the age of three and composing at the age of five.

The compositions are part of the musician's first orchestral movement. Researchers have estimated that Mozart composed the pieces at the ages seven and eight.

He wrote more than 600 pieces music before he died from rheumatic fever at the age 35.
