The Netherlands will now use full body scanners for all flights heading to the United States.
Dutch officials made the decision after last week's foiled terror attack.
The suspected bomber passed the customary security check at Amsterdam's airport which included a hand baggage scan and medal detector.
Now the airport will use all 15 of its full body scanners.
Until now, the machines were used on a limited basis because of privacy objections since the scanners can see through clothing.
