Israeli intelligence has helped foil a major Hezbollah terror attack against an Israeli target in Europe.
The Israelis had help from a European intelligence agency.
"Although it isn't clear yet which country, and which Israeli target, Hezbollah was aiming to hit, it is clear that the group is still seeking vengeance for last year's assassination of one of its most notorious terror leaders, Imad Mugniyeh," CBN News Terror Analyst Erick Stakelbeck reports.
"Hezbollah and its benefactor, Iran, blame Israel for Mugniyeh's death-and although Israel has denied any involvement, Hezbollah has vowed revenge," he said.
Israeli security services are on high alert with the first anniversary of Mugniyeh's death, Feb. 13, fast approaching,
