Some Skeptical of New Mideast Envoy

President Barack Obama's pick for special envoy to the Middle East is being met with skepticism by some in Israel.

Former Sen. George Mitchell was unsuccessful when President Clinton assigned him the role of stopping violence against Israel.

Jewish commentators say Mitchell helped prop up former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, and blamed Israel for the violence.

"The choice between war and peace will not always stay open," he said.

CBN News spoke with David Brog, executive director of Christians United for Israel, about the current state of Israel, and what Mitchell's appointment could mean for the country.
