Iraq Bombing Brings July Death Toll above 300

Ad Feedback

At least 29 people died in coordinated bombings in Baghdad on Friday.

The violence brings the death toll in Iraq for July to more than 300 people.

Seven soldiers were among those 300 but that's the lowest monthly total of American casualties since the war began in 2003.

Many Iraqis say they're concerned about their own soldiers being able to maintain security in the region and keep a tight reign on militants.
