CBN's Operation Blessing is partnering with Christian engineering organization Water Missions International to save lives in Nigeria.

The two organizations recently installed two water purification systems in that country. The villagers used to rely on contaminated ponds and open wells for drinking, bathing and watering cattle.
    
The new wells now bring clean drinking water to thousands of villagers. Operation Blessing teams are planning to install six more systems throughout the world this year to help other communities in need.

Dirty water is one of the biggest sources of disease in third world countries. And millions die every year of parasites, typhoid and other water-related illnesses.
