An Egyptian newspaper reported this week that several European members of an al Qaeda cell received training and financing in Gaza.

Cairo's al Masri al Youm newspaper reported Egyptian police busted the cell, which included three Belgians, a man from France and one from the U.K and seven Arabs.

Authorities said the cell was planning to attack Israeli targets in Egypt.

They also discovered "shocking evidence of the massive degree of al Qaeda activity in both Gaza and Egypt."

CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief Chris Mitchell and CBN News Terrorism Analyst Erick Stakelbeck gave their insight on the possible link between al Qaeda and Gaza.  Click play for their comments.
