The death toll from Friday's fire at a Mexico daycare center is now at 41.

Funerals began Monday for the 41 children lost in the fire.

Parents and family members of the victims filled churches to pay their respects.

The fire started at a nearby tire warehouse and spread to the day care center.

Most of the children where trapped inside.

Thirty-three children are being treated at hospitals -- 13 of which are in critical condition.

Daycare workers estimate there were around 140 children in the daycare center when it caught fire.
