The trial is set to begin Thursday for two American journalists being held in North Korea.

Californians held candle light vigils Wednesday night in support of the journalists.

Laura Ling and Euna Lee are based in California and work for Al Gore's "Current TV."

North Korean officials arrested the women in March on the China-North Korea border.

They are facing charges of illegal entry into the country.

Ling is the sister of well-known TV journalist Lisa Ling

If convicted -- the journalists could spend 10 years in a North Korean labor camp.
