Hunger has climbed to an historic high.

A UN study reveals more than 1 billion people in the world are undernourished -- that's one out of every six people.

Most are living in developing countries. Sub-Saharan Africa has the highest hunger rate.

The Food and Agriculture Organization blames the global economic crisis and high food prices.

The year's increase is an eleven percent jump over last year.
