Kremlin to Call for New International Currency

Ad Feedback

The Kremlin will call for a new international currency at the upcoming G20 economic summit.

The Moscow Times reports the Kremlin is suggesting the idea as part of a reform of the global financial system.

The dollar is currently used as the world's primary international currency. Although Russia has repeatedly criticized that setup.

Some analysts call the idea of a new currency as "fantasy." Few expect international government leaders to take it seriously.
